It's Finally Here!
Sorry I haven't posted for a few days, but I have been waiting because I knew that soon I would be able to show you the cover and the first two chapters. And today it came! So without any further delay, here is the cover and the first two chapters of Farworld Water Keep! Hope you like them.

Wow. I just finished reading the chapters and they were amazing. I really liked the Ishkabiddle and the Summoners. The chapters were very detailed. I also liked how the second chapter was focused on the main character but you never mentioned his name. You didn't even see him in the chapter. Unless of course the mop whacker was him. I can't wait for the ARC to come either. I'm dieing here!
That's evil, Scott. Tsk tsk. Really excellent, though. I know I'll be ready to dive into it as soon as I get it, wedding or not. If I'm reading your book instead of my wedding vows at the ceremony, I think my fiance might be a little angry. I hope your phone number's unlisted. :D

Nice cover. But I refuse to read the teaser. I'm waiting for my ARC where I can read the whole thing at once. :)
Great cover. Very eye catching. Like some others I don't dare to read the start of this because I know that I'll want more. So instead I'll be paitent and wait for the ARC.

Oh man, that WAS cruel. It looks great Scott. Can't wait to read the whole thing, and the cover is awesome. I can only imagine your excitement! thanks for posting it. I enjoyed the ishkabiddle, and I can't wait to find out more about those. I was intrigued from the first moment you mentioned them on this blog....several months ago. I like made up creatures.

Thanks for the wonderful comments everyone. I'm excited as all get out. The final cover is actually quite a bit different from the original sketches, but exactly the kind of look I was hoping for.
Sorry about the cliffhanger nature of the second chapter. But the ARCs at press now. So hopefully we can get them shipped out by the end of the month.
As far as Marcus being in a wheelchair, it was just an element of the story I knew before I even started writing it. In their own ways, Marcus and Kyja each must deal with their own trials.

I was going to hold off reading the chapters, but I let my 14 year old read it. Right after she started reading I heard "(giggle) Ishkabiddle". When she finished she said, "When is that thingy (ARC) coming? I wanna read the rest." Of course I had to read the teaser!
